Scenes from our initial recording sessions: Logan, Ohio
Wellsprings of Life: Quaker Wisdom in Chant music team:
Here is Joy!!!
Taken on the porch of the historic Bowen House in Logan, Ohio, where we spent two days laying down the initial tracks. Nick arranged for us to record in this beautiful historic home, now a cultural arts center, where he serves on the board. Nick and his wife, Molly, graciously hosted us in their home over two nights, in Logan, not far from the magnificent gorges and forests of Hocking Hills State Park.
Andrew Breitenberg, pianist, Nick Weiland, acoustic bass, Paulette Meier, and Sean Kelley, audio engineer.

Rehearsing at Nick and Molly's home the night before.
Molly Weiland, photographer, chef, and most gracious host ever!!!
Paulette, facing Sean's sound buffers while re-
cording -- a little tricky, not being able to see the musicians! (Sean's valiant attempt at creating a studio in a house with all wood, sound- bouncing floors and walls everywhere!) |
Quaker style meditation prior to starting a day of recording at Bowen House.
Singing "Here is Joy" in 3 part harmony, our voices rebounding off the walls of this spectacular gorge in Hocking Hills State Park.
